Default NBI 0.8.4 RC1 after 0.8.5pre: SAFE? - 05-27-2011, 06:23 PM

Hello, developers,

is it safe to use NBI 0.8.4 RC1 (or special edition ...2351) afterwards, on a system that was installed with 0.8.5pre?

I miss fiddling with the options...

Thanks,
g

NBI...351 certainly works on a machine that was installed with 0.8.5pre, I've done that on my own 10v a few times. Not sure about anything older as I've only ever tried ...351 and 0.85pre though.

I have jumped the full distance (0.8.5pre and 10.6.7) and no trouble so far. But it's good to know there is a working fallback option.
