Default Dell Mini 10v BIOS A05 now available on Dell support website - 10-08-2009, 12:04 PM

The A05 BIOS for the Mini 10v is now available for download from the Dell support website. It is listed under both Windows XP and 7.

I am surprised that they have only just released A05 when they are currently shipping with A06.

Yeah, Dell isn't making any sense on it. That's okay though, I'll stick with A04 for now.

Where did that one come from? It's the first I have heard of it!

Has anyone actually received a Mini 10v with A07 already 'on board'?

I think the A07 was for the 10 and not 10v. I seem to recall a post where someone with A07 was trying to install OSX and having all kinds of difficulty. Come to find out he had a 10 and not 10v.

Of course I could be mistaken as well.

Due to the A06 on the new notebooks and the "current" A04 on the Dell site, I was willing to believe that like the http://mydellmini.com/forum/dell-min...-mini-10v.html... :/

@ jaguar: When you start the Mini10v, just press the F2-key.
You will enter the BIOS - and on the first screen you can read which BIOS you have installed.

@ all: I have a question, too

What is the difference between BIOS A04 and A05 for the Mini10v?
Currently I have A04 installed - does it make sense to update to A05?

Hi Rony,

I think your question would probably receive more replies if you had posted it in either the "Beginners Questions", or the "General Discussion" areas.

It also helps to keep each individual thread 'on topic' as it were.

Hopefully one of our nice 'Mods' on here will move it for you anyway!
