Default Sorry Guys but.... - 03-21-2011, 12:38 PM

...I crossed over to the dark side and bought an 11" MacBookAir with 128GB SSD. Very nice it is too.... still got my Mini9 tucked away as a back up if I need it. To be honest, I needed more screen space/resolution and couldn't get the dual screen output to work when it was Hackintoshed so when I saw a guy selling a brand new still sealed MBA on eBay for £400 less than it was supposed to be it was a no brainer.

My girlfriend uses her Mini 10v everyday all day, with dual screen etc for long Word sessions, can't fault it....

I got the 1012 due to the ability to upgrade the RAM...still haven't done it yet, but maybe one day I'll get the courage to do it Thanks!

I'm using my Dell Inspiron Duo primarily and the Dell Mini 9 every once in a while.

Default Mini 10v here - 03-21-2011, 02:29 PM

it's running snow leopard. The upgrade to 2 GB ram made a noticeable difference. I had originally set it up so that i had access to OS X (it is important to be able to use all major OSs). I bought an iMac, so the need for the mini is greatly diminished. Once I pay the iMac off, I plan to get a 13" macbook air. I hear it runs windows 7 quite well (with better battery life than OSX).
