Actually, there are at most two (if not one) that will work. You will find lots of SSDs in the same form-factor, but because the Mini 9 uses a customized wiring of the connector, and uses PATA instead of SATA, your choices are extremely limited. Unless the description of the SSD explicitly states that it is for the Dell Mini 9/Inspiron 910, it will NOT work.

The only current brand I am aware of is Kingspec. I see Amazon is selling a 128GB version (had not seen that one before). Kingspec used to offer 32 and 64GB models, but I can find the 64 only at amazon.ca.

That's actually pretty good as far as the Mini 9 goes. Can you even find the Runcore? The spec for Runcore 64GB was 90/55. The Mini 9 is slow enough that I would not obsess about the SSD speed.

And, truthfully, I would not spend that kind of money to keep a Mini 9 going nowadays. It is going on nine years old and is painfully slow (and hot), even with a good SSD.

Default Super Talent ssd - 07-15-2017, 07:09 PM

Amazon currently has the 64gb Super Talent drive available for around $50.
I'm using one in my mini9 with win10 and it gives decent speed.

Dell Mini 9 2gb, ST 64gb, 16gb sdhc, win 10

You mean the "Search Site" box on every page?
