I updated my Mini9 to Windows 7 last year along with swapping out the 8GB SSD for KingSpec 32GB to better run Win7. Just wondering if any Mini9 users have received the notification in the system tray to update to Windows10? I haven't received the notification and I'm not sure why as my other Win7 laptops have all received the notification.

That said I'm really content how well the Mini9 (still) works running Win7. Turned off all the aero/animation stuff and I run portable apps of Chrome/Firefox and to me it's plenty fast. I'll be curious to see if anyone is running the final released version of Win10 on a Mini9.

See if How to get the Windows 10 upgrade icon if it's missing - CNET helps. I haven't tried this on my Mini9 yet (haven't booted it in a few months.)
