Hello,

I have seen SO MANY different posts out there, I just need some clarification.

I have my Mini 9 running 10.6.3. I have used netbook installer to get the thing to boot but not yet used netbook maker RC .085 (Think that's the version). Seems like everything is working except wake from sleep (no biggie).

I want to update to 10.6.7 (or 10.6.8) but I have seen many different (and conflicting) reports on how to do this.

Can anyone who has done this please provide step-by-step instructions? I know I downloaded the 10.6.7 combo updater and tried to install it on my original 10.6 install and kept getting a kernal panic on reboot after the combo installer was done.

I am a n00b so plain English is appreciated. Thanks all!

Certainly quiet out there. Anybody hackintoshing their Mini9s anymore?

Anyway, this worked perfect for me from 10.6.3 to 10.6.7

One more question, I had a hack on 10.5 that showed the correct processor when you chose about this Mac from the Apple ID. The hack made it display Intel Atom 1.6 gHz.

Anyone know how to find or use this hack?

Go with 10.6.8, with the new kernel it shows everything correctly.
