Still use mine everyday. Upgraded my mini 9 a long time ago to 2GB memory and 32GB SSD. Currently I'm running Linux Mint 16. I just wish I had a HDMI port. I don't want to buy an adaptor.

Still have two here.
My wife's former Mini9 is in my radio shack and I use it almost everyday on Win XP for specific applications (logging, digital transmissions, light web browsing).
Just reinstalled it as the OS X partition was 13GB and XP only 3GB. Now I have 10GB for XP and 6GB for Lubuntu.
The other one is from my parents who left it for an iPad. My elder son use it under OS X 10.6.8 for watching Youtube educational videos (french TV show "C'est pas Sorcier") and sending emails to his grandparents...

One running win 7 one OSX - both with runcore SSD's and both still going although one battery is not running properly and the second with a new battery does not want to show the correct actual %.

Think I'll sell them - really no real use for them any more, probably only get $20!!

Yeah..I have one in a closet with Windows 7, 2GB Ram, 32gb runcore. I think I took it out once last year, but the battery does still seem to work. I keep contemplating selling it, but they are only going for like $30-$50 on fleabay.

yep - they run OK i guess but the keyboards are cramped and there are so many better laptops out now - might end up being my motorbike laptop.

Here we are again... resurrected, updated and welcomed back . Clean install and running 10.6.8 without a hitch. That's better....

Cool I still use mine too, occasionally. It's a great little thing! And so silent. I had forgotten I'd gotten some perfectly sized Finnish layout stickers to put on the keyboard, they're still there and in good condition. The keys are so polished from so much writing hahaha ah, the memories of browsing through these forums looking for clues of kernel panics and getting it to work with tips from holmes4 and everyone else. How are your minis running? I've been thinking of getting a new SSD to replace this stock 16GB one but not sure if any retailer will ship to Finland. Some won't, but I'll keep looking! Do you know of any btw that might?

Thanks again everyone, it's been a great ride and I will keep using this Snow Leopard machine as long as it lasts! The battery is dead ofc and the replacement I got off ebay does not of course work, so gotta keep it plugged in. But well at least it's even lighter now without the battery!

I just got my Hackintosh PC running finally, had some problems with the GTX 970, but they got tackled after properly installing the nvidia web drivers. Running 10.10.4, gonna try El Capitan when it comes out. That PC is a bit more powerful than this netbook my work machine so 24GB RAM for Photoshop, coding etc. And in 2010 2GB was MORE than enough...lol

I just bought one on ebay and i'm loving it. It has a 32gb drive with 1gb RAM which i will be expanding. Just installed Windows 10 Pro 32 bit and it's working fine, but of course will benefit with additional RAM. I read about the Runcore 64gb SSD, but it sounds like they are no longer available. Any other recommendation?
