I ran VoodooHDA for a while but found that I got a lot of static and pops at random times.

I find that the pop's disappear upon re-loading the kext via sleepwatcher using these instructions , should you desire to use it. It's not a solution to the crackling problems, though a worthy workaround.

I've just switched the the newly patched AppleHDA (http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/dell...-applehda.html) and so far, fingers crossed, it's pretty clean sound and I get speakers and mic.

Sadly the AppleHDA doesnt function for me after I wake my dellmini9 from sleep. I've tried the solution with the sleep watcher and than I recognize that in the RC4 Realease it is obsolete. So I uninstalled them and it doesnt function at all. There is simply no sound.

I had the same issue. Went over to newest VoodooHDA to get everything plus sleep working.

This would be 243 - so this is the link? And there are no longer any hissing sounds while using the mic or changing the volume level?
