I do know why they wanted it raise 399 to 449, because AAspire AS1410 selling for 449. C'mon *dell*. But I believe that they will drop from 449 to 399 or 350 in few months.. I bet that. Anyway You really tempt me to selling LT31 and get Dell 11z.. thank alot, hahaha .. 08/09/09: Gateway LT3103u - 2GB DDR2 SDRAM - 250GB SATA HDD - WinVista SP2-32 bit - SideWinder X8 |

![]() I agree. The Acer has better specs for the same price. It's time for Dell to wake up!

![]() Having sold & worked on Acer PCs at Best Buy (Geek Squad), I'd be the first one to say don't get an Acer, except the Aspire One series. THOSE are nice, and from what I've read, the 1410/1810T comes from the same pedigree. The 1410 is an Aspire One in vanilla Aspire clothing.
But, back on topic... Current Machine: 2010 MacBook Pro 13", 2.4 GHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Win7 Pro x64/OS X 10.6.3 And I play with my girlfriend's Mini 10v ^_^. Interested in using MATLAB on the Mini 10v? Check out my benchmarks! |

![]() I had another rep tell me it was because it's "a fast track model". ummm... so??? THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE!!. I shouldn't have to wait a month when ordering from the website. We are being charged for what should be the norm.

![]() I think it's safe to say that when asking a Dell rep about anything, take it with a grain of salt. It seems some just pull excuses or reasons out of their ass to make them look better for whatever reason.
FWIW, my wife's is listed with a HD WLED screen as well. |
