Default Buying a 6 Cell 2100 Battery - 01-11-2010, 12:03 AM

I'm contemplating buying a 6 Cell for my 2100.

I've seen the pictures and it sticks out of the bottom just as bulbous as most brands' 6 cell batteries. But I travel over 100k a year and sometimes planes don't have cig-lighter or Empower hookups on the seats. I'll keep the 3 cell for local usage.

Anyways this is the only place I've found them via casual Google search... not too bad of a price, $69.99... Is this about the best I can do?

I think $69 is a good price and they seem to give 2% extra off with Paypal. I am not sure about the company though.

Is this "Dell" or some "unknown" replacement battery?

i have the 6 cell battery and it charges fast and i can get a full days of work on it, it is great, its also light, have no idea on the company but if you travel lots, then having a 6cell as main and using your old 3cell battery as backup would be awesome for a traveller. it does stick out from the bottom, so it's not flat anymore.

buy the 6 cell for what it is worth. 3 cell batteries are gone in less than 2 hours. If you really want the lat 2100 to use as a mini, than buy the 6 cell. It's size just wouldnt matter.

I'm still getting a little over 3hrs with the screen set lower while on battery... this is running Win 7 with a 5400rpm drive.

Could it possibly be your Scorpio Black 7200rpm?
