I would like to be able to play minecraft on my little dell mini 10v but it is very slow. Like 2-3 fps. I was wondering if an upgrade to 2gb of ram would increase my performance or would I need a better graphics card if so can I upgrade my graphics card?

A graphics card upgrade ain't possible on the 10v.

A RAM upgrade may help, because from what I've read, 2GB is recommended for Minecraft. But you'll still be stuck with the 10v's slow, single-coreCPU and old graphics "card".

you dont need to upgrade anything.
I got it running perfectly with little to no lag

If you turn render distance to tiny you can set graphics to fancy

But, unfortunately, the Hackintoshers in the audience are out of luck. Performance is dismal even with those reduced settings.

I can't Even get minecraft to start.... i have a dell mini 10v and my brother has the same but he has got minecraft to run

Minecraft on my Dell Mini 9 averages a measly 3-7 FPS, I do enjoy a solid framerate on my laptop. I can't honestly recommend it on a netbook.

It runs fine on my 10v...I'm on XP atm, and have already upgraded to 2GB RAM...a bit of help to some with a similar setup as mine...simply just download the latest Minecraft and download this texture pack for it:

I've been experimenting with it and I have the Graphics on "Fancy" and the Render Distance on "Far" and it runs GREAT!!!
