One of my clients bought 13 of them last week the day they went on sale.

My boss wanted them downgraded to XP but no drivers are available on Dell's site.

They will stay with Vista until Windows 7 ships and we get the upgrade DVDs from Dell.

My wife is absolutely happy with hers running Windows 7.

i just picked one up, kinda glad i ignored that review. it's really nice, runs windows 7 like a champ. i can play both penny arcade adventure games on it. works with my wimax.

i ordered a 802.11n card for it, and then all it's missing is bluetooth, which i'm not even missing.

love it.

Had the same problem with putting XP on my Dell 1318. Found a few sites with drivers that worked. I'm sure they'll start popping up soon =)

Piecemeal, sure. From Dell? Probably not. With Windows 7 due out next month, it's time to let XP die.

they've been trying to kill it off for awhile, but people keep using it, so they keep moving back the EOL date.

True, but when they stop writing drivers for the hardware, I think the writing is on the wall.

Not gonna commit to anything just yet, since the news just broke about the UK site no longer listing the Mini 10. Something new might be in the pipe...

I'm a patient man, and can make it through my first several weeks of classes sans netbook.

Sold my Mini 9 for a larger netbook, one that's easier on my wrists and hands.
Current Machine: 2010 MacBook Pro 13", 2.4 GHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Win7 Pro x64/OS X 10.6.3

And I play with my girlfriend's Mini 10v ^_^.

Interested in using MATLAB on the Mini 10v? Check out my benchmarks!
