Default Bluetooth module not recognised after clean XP reinstall - 09-18-2011, 02:42 PM

Dear all

Strange thing happened recently, after a clean install of XP on my mini 9, my bluetooth module is no longer recognised. There is nothing in system properties, even though bluetooth is enabled in the BIOS (A05)

Is it just coincidence that the module broke at the same time I chose to reinstall? I guess its possible it broke prior to this, but I just didnt notice

Just wondering if this happened to anyone else, or if there is something I should be aware of?

Many thanks

Scott

Thanks for the response

I couldnt find anything to that effect at the dell website, and I have long lost the CDs.

If anyone has the utility, could you please help me out?

I thought something would still have been visible in system properties though?

Thanks

Scott

Actually, try this one instead. The one Rich points you to does not, in fact, include the wireless select switch, despite it saying it does.
