[Edited to include working link to NBI file] [04/19/13]
This guide will show you how to create a bootable OS X installation USB flash drive using your PC. (For use with Dell Mini 10v, and Dell Mini 9.)

If you are new to Hackintosh, check out this thread before you install:...

Thanks for the instructions.
That's kind of funny--a 30 gig boot drive! Mine's a 128mb sd card. But great to hear it all worked out.

Hi, i need a bit of help with this. Im using a Dell Mini 9 to try this and everytime I get into the Mac install screen I get a message saying MAc cannot be installed on this computer. I formatted the SSD and it kept trying to install from a time machine back up. Any help please.

ok.. just did a bit of digging around and came across this post:

http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/dell...-computer.html

are you attempting this with the disk that came with your mac? that posts suggests that's the problem and that you can only use a 'retail' copy.

1. I'm unfamiliar with the xps and whether SL can actually be installed to it.
2. I don't know any way to install SL onto a DVD.

Having said that, if you are certain OS X will run on your computer and you have the proper installation materials, the dual boot guide should work for you. But you've gotta get a hold of an external HD.

As this guide calls for NBI 084, I have to ask, are you using this guide, or did come about it randomly?

What version OS X do you have? Do you have the disk?

Where are you getting this error message? Pre or post install?
