I got mine today (USPS). Showed up 93% charged. Fits better than the Dell battery does, no kidding. I have a bunch of pics taken that I will post for the sake of those interested. One or two interesting things to note from them, also.

It reads 0.0% of 82,140mWh.

I had a strange issue with the battery last night. I was watching a few episodes of a TV show in Media Player classic and before watching the last episode, I checked the battery level, which showed about 50%. At the end of the last episode, I remoted into my desktop downstairs and the netbook suddenly powered down with the red low-battery light flashing.

I plugged it in and when I woke up this morning the power and battery leds were alternating. I unplugged the battery and everything is back to normal, but now I'm concerned, mainly due to the battery suddenly just "dying" at 50% charge. The only thing I had done before this issue happened was that I had run the battery to 70-80% charge and then switched to AC power.

I still can't get the Dell battery utility to work with this battery under Windows 7, though I am on A04, so perhaps I need to upgrade to A05/06?

I have one of these batteries - bought when they first came out - and use it with BIOS A06 under Win7. No problems seen so far.

Good to know. So you'd recommend A06 over A05? I haven't been hanging out here as much as I used to, but since I don't have a WWAN card, A06 should be fine for me, right?

I know of no reason to choose one over the other. I went from A04 to A06.

Interesting. Upgraded to A06 and now the Win7 battery icon actually shows the time remaining, whereas under A04 it didn't.

I have a feeling that the A05 update was very battery-centric. I know it made it impossible to use most of the aftermarket units, but so far it seems to be the best version for this one.

I got the red LED at %10 on mine yesterday, plugged it in, and have it charged back up without any issues.

A05 added reporting of discharge current, so it's not too surprising that it had issues with non-Dell batteries.
