![]() Yep of the 3 I brought two are still operational one running OSX 10.6.4 the other win 7 - both with runcore 64 gig SSD's. They get used primary as movie unit's by the kids with the movies on our server.
Now knocking on 3 years old and still going strong. Me I use my M11x - which so far has had one screen replacement, one battery, and replacement motherboard. |

![]() I take mine to school with me every day for taking notes. Law books are heavy, so the Mini 9's small size makes it a lot easier to find a place for it in my bag without adding too much weight. Plus, with Dropbox, all my school documents are synchronized between the mini and my home computer.

![]() My Mini 9 had been collecting dust for a while. It got replaced with a Mini 1012 I use when away from the house very shortly after I got it. The bigger screen, battery and keyboard of the Mini 1012 makes it near perfect for on the go.
Aside from the occasional legacy app that requires XP I haven't touched the Mini 9. That should changes this weekend. I am working on an emergency communications project with the local police department and my Mini 9 will be reborn running Ubuntu 11.10. Fingers crossed that it is a smooth install. -JP Mini 10 (1012)|N450|2GB|250GB|HD Display|Bluetooth|Crystal HD|GPS|Win 7 XPS 13 (Ivy Bridge) - Mini 10 replacement planned for this summer |

![]() I surf with my 3 yr old mini 9 every day. Running Ubuntu 10.4, 2 gb ram, and a 64 gb ssd, it is fast. I am very comfortable with the keyboard and screen size. It also travels with me on vacations. I've gotten my moneys worth out of this baby and don't plan on upgrading as long as it continues to run.

![]() Mine still works just fine, replaced the battery six months ago. It was my first Linux computer and though I don't use Ubuntu on it anymore, it was a great way to fiddle with different distributions. We don't even run Windows at the house anymore, except for an old version of XP running in a virtualbox on the house computer (which runs Mint). This Mini is primarily used for cloud-based stuff now, hence I run PeppermintOS on it. I love taking it on business trips.

![]() Got it as an linux machined, it still is. has 2 gb of ram, and a recent 16 gb ssd upgrade.
I can boot it, check email, and shutdown while a window machien is still booting. "Still use mine as much as ever... must be the only one :]" |

![]() Count me in. Changed memory to 2 Gig the day I bought the unit. Perfect for giving PowerPoint presentations to clients. POP3 email while travelling is more convenient than using webmail.
Win XP 16G STEC drive. Now waiting for delivery of 32G Runcore. |

![]() Few month ago I bought my Mini 9 for 90€. Before buy it, I thought that I wouldn't use it too much. But now I use it always for the University. I put Snow Leopard and it's fantastic. Verry useful to take notes and to do works in the biblio.
