Exclamation Help!!!!! - 04-16-2012, 04:09 AM

my little brother thought he was helping me out and deleted my entire hard disk. like, EVERYTHING, including the hal.dll file, the ntldr, and all of the components my computer needs to even start. is there any file out there that i can download that will put all the initial factory programs and etc back on my hard disk? like, restore EVERYTHING back to factory? (just so everyone knows, i have a dell mini 9).

Isn't this the Mini 9 you just put Windows on using you C600? Why not just reinstall?

There is nothing you can legally download for this, unless you want to buy a downloadable copy of Windows 7 from Microsoft. A Dell restore CD, which shipped with the Mini 9, can be used to restore it, but you'll lose any personal files. A reinstall or "repair", using a Windows install CD, would probably do what you want.
