Has anyone tried to get Unreal Tournament 2004 running on their 9?

Risk 2 works perfectly. Great time killing game.
Anyone know if any of the football manager/championship manager games will work?
Rome total war?

Giants: Citizen Kabuto - Works on 1024x600 32bit with playable FPS if viewing distance is lowered by 1/4, shadow details set to 'Low' and advanced water effects 'Off' but all other settings can remain high.

I'd say that it won't run at all. It's a pretty demanding game and will need at least a dedicated graphics card. The original UT runs fine though and the facing worlds map is as amazing as ever.

I just got my mini 9 up and running with Vista last night and installed Steam. I managed to get Ultimate Doom from Steam (which is on sale through Jan 2nd for only 99 cents) running flawlessly on my mini. I plan to try the two Penny Arcade Adventures games next.

Half-Life 2

I've not got to the shooting part, but the intro scene and walking through the train station work fine. Why is it red?

try command line prompts:

-novid
skips the valve video
-console
skips the rendering of a scene in the background on startup (fast loads)
-dx81
I could have this one wrong, but force the game into direct x 8.1
-width 800
-height 600

Then when you start the game, change all the settings to low. Mine started with everyhting on high and that was no good. I installed the game to my SD card.

Since it doesn't know our graphics card it was defaulting to high, and since it was trying to render a scene in the background it was failing. Try this out.
