I'm running OS X 10.6.7 with the help of ...513 NBI. I used the 10.6.7 combo update.

Apple Software Update has a bunch of updates for me to get. Should I get them all without doing anything else, or should I run NBI 513 first or after, or what? the updates will require a reboot. they include: java for 10.6 update 4, airport utility, safari, remote desktop, itunes, security update 2011-002.

You should be fine. I ran SW Update after upgrading to 10.6.7 on my 10v, didn't have to do anything and it was fine.

did you run NBI 315 before you ran SW on your 10.6.7? Was it right after you upgraded to 10.6.7 or later? Sorry, I'm a little skiddish, as I had to do a clean install, and now have spent a lot of time setting this guy up. thanks for your help.

I ran NBI right immediately after 10.6.7 was done installing - before restarting. I didn't have to run NBI before or after doing the SW Update.

I ran and installed security update 2011-002 straight from software update without any issues. No need to run NBI before or after doing the security update.
