Default Lost sound on 10.6.7 update! - 03-29-2011, 01:46 PM

I have updated to 10.6.7, never having had any problems with Apple Updates, until now.

Steps taken:
1. Ran NBI...51
2. Updated from SWU
3. Re-ran NBI
4. Rebooted

I have lost all sound in OS X.6.7, and I am unsure what to do next. Any help is appreciated.

I dont know if this helps or not but I updated to 10.6.7, had no sound, ran NBI 8.4 rc, that fixed sound but airport card disappeared, ran NBI ...351 and now have sound and airport, so hope it stays that way.

I had the same issue. The trick is to run NBI 0.8.5pre. It will give you sound ;D

I just did this the other day from 10.6 to 10.6.7. Just download/install the update then before rebooting install the "special" NBI and reboot. You'll be on 10.6.7 then run NBI 0.8.5pre for sound.
