I've just installed Vista, and so far I'm very impressed with the performance. These screenshots just prove why... All of those windows open and it still ran pretty smoothly with Messenger open too!

 I'm thinking about Vista with vLite though... sorta pissed off with XP Pro (used to Vista on all my other PC's!). Was it pretty simple to set up? And how is it vs. XP if you've tried that. I have been running Vista on my Mini since November and love it. Wouldn't do XP at all now. I slimmed it down with vLite. Here is a link to my post on what I did in vLite and what I did about drivers. Same as Jeff, I've been running Vista since around December (after receiving my Runcore), and have had no problems! I vLited mine, had to re-do it a second time because I was having problems getting wireless to work. It runs as good, sometimes better than my desktop Vista system. I believe I used the Mini 12 drivers (for Vista). |

I'm really pleased with it after using it for a while!! It was dead simple to set up, with barely any input needed at all!

Even more proof of the performance... 174 Google Chromes open, 1 Paint.net, and Flight Simulator in Google Earth still ran fairly smoothly!

Hey,
You tried playing back any HD video files under Vista? Try a 720p MKV and tell us if there's any lag/stuttering (like there is on XP  ).
