successfully installed vista directly to a 4gb ssd on mini 9 -

I was able to install a vlited vista home premium directly to the 4gb drive in mini 9.
It resulted in 1.9GB vista install with 1.6 GB space left after turning off page file and hibernate. It performs very well and only consumes around 500mb memory even after a few hours of use with a 2gb of memory installed. This system also has the stock STEC drive and i did not notice any lags so far. I will try to get a guide up if there is enough intrest. |

can you tell us what components have you removed from the vista installation with vlite???

I am also interested to know what you did, I installed a normal dell vista ultimate and it used like 14gbs after updates.

Hi, please write a guide on how you managed to use vlite to squeeze the Vista's install to 1.9GB..Thanks in advance!
