Hi all,

I recently purchased a Bluetooth 2.1 Dell Bluetooth module for the Inspiron 1010 and 1011 from eBay, but try as I might I cannot get the blessed thing working on my Mini 10v.

I've tried the Bluetooth fix from NBI 0.8.4 and NBI ...351, in both regular OSX and Safe Boot mode. I've tried toggling it on and off in the BIOS. I've tried legacy USB support in the BIOS. I've even done an archive and install on my Hackintosh to roll it back to 10.6.0 and repeated the whole thing, in case running 10.6.7 was causing some issues.

Has anyone got any hints, tips or advice? This is driving me nuts and although the Bluetooth module being faulty is always a possibility I'm not ready to write it off just yet.

Did you boot into windows to turn it on? That's where you need to enable it from (aside from the bios, of course!)

I tried that, seems the module might actually be dead. Waiting on a replacement before I try again.

The replacement module worked perfectly first time. Turned out the first module was properly dead, hence why I couldn't get it working!
