No, it isn't. It isn't a "drive" at all - it's a card in the MiniPCIe form factor, but with custom connection of the pins.

I've run SSDs through airport scanners many times, including my Mini 9. Never an issue. Did you put the whole Mini in your luggage? That's a good way to get it stolen, sad to say.

When you say "broken 3x", what exactly do you mean?
