Can anyone tell me what is LOTA service?

It's the acronym for the Android developer lab. Reporting crashes, bugs, and other issues, will help them develop, android better, and fix reported issues.

Someone told me "lab of the android" specifically, but if that is correct I don't know.

That's interesting!

It is part of the operating system of android devices, judging by the "cog" widget when you have a look at apps on the phone.

You certainly wouldn't want to delete that one .....

I find it odd that Google has nothing about LOTA.service, - but there are LOTA forums, if I recall to do with Wi-Fi.
