Hi,

I found my old Dell Mini 9 after moving, and have a need for it. However, when I power it on, after the Dell logo appears, all I get is "Read Error" Nothing less, nothing more. I get this same error if I hit 0 and run the Diagnostics option.

I searched through the forums but never found a mention of this exact error.

When I try to install a new linux distro, it detects the 16gb SSD, but fails when trying to write a new partition.

This basically means the SSD is toast, right? I just wanted to check with you long-time users. If so, can anyone suggest a good replacement?
