I do have sound though headphones. Any help would be appreciated. Go slow, I am new to all of this. THANKS!

Welcome to the forum! You might try asking in one of the Linux sections. I was hoping that Dell had Linux downloads on their site, as they did offer it with Linux, but no such luck.
