Reply to myself : problem solved.

In fact, it was 2 problems. HDD was broken (confirmed in another computer) and keyboard flat cable was outside its port (so impossible to access BIOS pressing keys).

Solution to try : insert USB bootable flashdrive with Lubuntu (or another Linux distro) and WAIT A FEW MINUTES. I did'nt wait enough first times, I stop power source in less than one minute when I saw that nothing happened.

Computer will boot on USB and you will see if system works, proof of HDD failure.

Hello and thanks to everyone for all the great information.... I've got a Dell Inspiron mini 10 (PP19S) that failed during a BIOS update. I'm trying to find the files specified in this tread as well as any other threads here on recovering the minis.

Anyone been able to find the files recently. I've been through atleast 10 threads with different methods and files and Ive been able to find nothing. Also does anyone know if this recover works with this specific model of the mini 10
