I have the newest version of Ubuntu installed on my Mini 1018. The wifi stopped working on it, and says its been disabled by the hardware switch. Same is said when using a USB wireless card.
The newest version of Ubuntu was installed after problem developed on the previous version of Ubuntu, however the problem remained.
What can I do to get my wifi back?

you have to install drivers for ur wireless as ubuntu dont have the driver support for money 1018 wireless card .

if ur wifi was working properly before all u have 2 do is restart. then enter bios and reset all to dafault settings.

i had this same problem earlier this year, the only way i could find to reverse the issue was to install Windows 7 along side with Ubuntu and enable it in windows
