Connecting to HDTV? -

I have the 1012 with the 1336x768 res, and the VGA output. How would this work, could I just plug the VGA cable into my 47" HDTV (It has that port) or what should I do. I want it in its native or close its resolution. Also I need to know because the port is on a really hard to reach place when its wall mounted. What the max the card supports out resolution.

im new here but saw this hope it helps,im usin my 1012 on a 22" external lcd as its is broken (i keep lookin to see if my almost week old post get replied to)
