![]() There are quite a number of powered speakers that would work well. These tend to be rechargeable by USB but don't get their audio from USB. I have this one, but it is no longer made. I've seen others that are similar.

![]() I have a set of Dell AX210 speakers that I sometimes use with my devices. They plugin to USB for power and the headphone jack for audio. They don't offer great sound, but they're still a significant improvement over most netbook and small laptop speakers.
