Default Doesn't work on Mini 9 - 08-06-2009, 01:57 PM

Unfortunately, doesn't work on a Mini 9 with 10.5.8 (10.5.6 was installed via DellEFI 1.1, and upgraded to 10.5.7 and then 10.5.8 + DellEFI 1.2a5).

The error goes by too fast, but says sleep file too old (or something to that effect). And when I tried re-installing the patched Chameleon and DellEFI 1.2a5, noticed that the hibernate file was only being generated once waking from sleep, and not when sleep was initiated (which is weird). Machine has 2GB RAM, but I doubt thats relevant.

This is the last hurdle for me for the perfect Hackintosh!

I had all kinds of bizarre issues on 10.5.8. Perhaps try on 10.5.7?

Has anyone else tried this, successful or not?

Thanks for the tip on this. I've been interested in hibernation under OSX for awhile.

I'll going to try it as soon as I backup my system as I'm triple booting so I gotta be careful whenever I muck around with a new bootloader.

Never hurts to back up, though it (in theory) won't affect anything - you're just updating to a new version of Chameleon.

I'm going to edit my OP and make the write up better.
