Sorry, I had to delete my jolicloud installation. I'm just having some trouble with my partition structure and I can't manage to host the operating systems the way that I want on my netbook. I will tell you later, when I solved it.

But as it is a modification of UNR, I think the size will be nearly the same.

Sorry for my bad english - It has been a long time ago since I learned it at school...

I was surprised. I expected to format my windows partition in order to install, but Jolicloud was happy to install onto the less than 5gb free space.

Your 4gb mini will be fine.

Jolicloud posted a picture of their OS running on a UMID with an Intel 500 GMA chipset. Its not currently supported but it appears they made it work! Those of us who own devices with the Poulsbo architecture won't be left out in the cold.

I have been intrested in Jolicloud but it seems like it is difficult to get and then difficult to run on the 1010. Does it have any advantages over UNR . I installed UNR on my 1010 but when I found out how much faster Ubuntu ran in classic mode I switched. Is Jolicloud worth the effort. fdalbort

If you like cloud computing and better hardware support, it may be worth the switch when it comes out of private alpha.

If anyone is interested in evaluating Jolicloud, I received an invitation within about 3 days of applying.

I plan to wait until I have installed a SSD in my new Mini 10v before trying it out though!
