Default Build 7048 - 03-08-2009, 03:26 PM

Anyone try it yet? My new Mini will be here mid-week, and I'll probably throw 7048 on it as a test.

I wasn't aware that 7048 had a 32-bit build released, but apparently that leaked out a couple days ago too. I'd only seen the 64 bit. Personally though, I think I'm going to just wait until the RC, I hear it's probably only a month or two out.

I do not consider my Mini a "production" machine in the least bit. I will try 7048 as soon as my new Mini arrives. Unfortunately my day has too much going on today to try it.

That and I left my USB to IDE/SATA adapter at work

Build 7048 x32 leaked just a day or so ago. I'm upgrading from Build 7022 right now, I'll post any snags I run into (if any).

Changed my mind. I'm installing build 7048 clean right now.

Upgrade from 7022 to 7048 was pretty seamless. Windows 7 is shaping up really well--it's actually quite springy on the Mini 9, even the so-called "slow" STEC SSD.

Any word on the crashing from sleep now, a few days later? The way I use my Mini I just can't have crashes from sleep-- I'm dying to get a stable Win7 in that dept.
