Hello,

Snow Leopard must be installed on a partition GUID but you can restore an image disk (GUID) on a partition MBR, it works.
It allows to have a disk of system restore and facilitates the installation dual boot OSX / XP on a disk partition MBR.
It is easier than an installation on a hybrid disk realized with gptsync.

If you buy a new mini 10 with Windows xp installed, it is enough to resize the XP partition to create a MAC OS partition and then restore the image OSX without destroying anything.
