Yes, that should work. Keep in mind that Metro apps won't run due to the limited screen height (but see my posts above.)

Alright, one more question. Is this like a Trial? Will they eventually Force me to Buy Windows 8 or change my OS or can I just use this as long as I want?

It will expire, probably within a month or so of retail release.

For those with the Dell 5530 3G HSDPA card I had no problems with it in the first preview but it is not detected with the Consumer Preview. Has anyone had any luck getting it to work? I tried every driver set I could find. I've even swapped out two just to ensure it wasn't a failed device.... I'd love to be able to use it again, was very handy. I still use my Mini 9 for the stuff the iPad can't do properly yet (word/excel docs etc).

Thanks

Win 8 RC and preview versions will all expire on Jan the 15th. But if you've got any XP/Win7 serial (working one) lying around, just take the opportunity to upgrade to Win8 Pro for only £24.99 (just convert to your currency) or £49 for a DVD. Not bad.

Anyway, anyone running Mac OS X 10.6.8 before installing Win 8 can tell me if there's any difference in speed?

I installed Win 8.1 on my Dell Mini 9 after reducing it using WinReducer8.1. The installed size is 7.5GB on my 16GB SSD. Don't know if the reduced iso too would complain.
