Default Streak wont boot after superboot...Help!! - 08-07-2011, 06:39 PM

After using superboot my device restarted and no longer gets passed the dell logo. I have tried to factory reset and I havel also used the QDL Tool (following the tutorial) with no success. Any help or guidance would be really helpful on how I can get my streak working again. I have run out of things I can think of to try so any help is great.

Ohh I can also get into fastboot and recovery.

Thanks so much in advance

Matt

Red face Streak Won't Boot After Superboot - 08-07-2011, 09:32 PM

I haven't heard of Superboot, but get rid of it if you get the device working again.

If I had a similar problem, I would put the device on charge, and then try to start it.

If that didn't work I would remove the battery, then reconnect it.

There just isn't a lot you can do when a device won't budge.

"Fast Reboot" is apparently not similar to "Superboot", - but it never causes a problem and can free up problems instantly.

Sorry I can't think of anything else.

FIXED! Managed to fix it by flashing the stock recovery in fastboot+command prompt then put the microsd card into a card reader to copy the stock pkg which I found on xda then went through option 2 on recovery as normal.

Thanks for your help

Matt
