I was thinking something similar, so here's my thought process:

1) Format the SSD (just out of the box at this point) with a FAT and a Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) partition (think about 25% and 75%, respectively).

2) Use CCC to transfer my existing setup to the SSD Mac Partition.

3) Install the Windows 7 Disk on a flashdrive

4) Boot from said flash drive and install on the FAT partition

5) DONE


And then I should just be able to hold Shift on startup to select a partition, right?
