If you buy a USB Bluetooth receiver, any laptop can use a BT mouse.

If you want to know whether your laptop has a BT receiver built-in, consult the specs. (I think the M101z doesn't have one)

Both my M101z laptops came with a "Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n Combo Card" so unless yours came with a different wireless card it should work fine.

Hi Fanatic,

You need to get a Bluetooth mouse, not just wireless. Good luck finding one though. Where I live, most stores only seem to carry standard wireless (with dongle). Make sure it says Bluetooth on the box (Microsoft markets a bunch that say "Bluetrack" which is NOT the same thing). I found an older Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 for about $55 at Office Max. My local Best Buy doesn't have any BT computer mouses, other than the Apple Magic Mouse. Have fun!

Dell have a decent Bluetooth mouse in their online store - here is a link to the UK one:

As LinkRS stated, if you want to avoid an additional receiver, you need to get a "Bluetooth" mouse. A typical "wireless" mouse has a small USB receiver.

And as LinkRS also stated, BT mice are rare in brick&mortar stores. Look online, that's where I got mine.
