Just installed this and t's working way better than the original drivers. Can't seem to get two finger clicking to work very well but scrolling is fine. Installed on Mini9, 10.5.7, DellEfi1.2a5.

Default New install - 07-20-2009, 03:38 PM

I have completed a new install of OSX using Netbookinstaller 0.8.1--Trackpad is doing its number as reported by most users--I just want to be able to drag and drop and not have the cursor fly off the edge of the screen or delete items from my DOCK as it has done.

Question. -- If I use Touchpad V17 OR V18, do I have to uninstall anything using the uninstall program---keep in mind fresh install with sound fixed. Thanks

Forgot to mention. Mini 10V, 1 Gb, OSX 10.5.7

I just installed the v18 and now my trackpad is worse than it was to begin with and is virtually unusable. How can I get rid of this and/or fix the installation? Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I installed V18 about 2 weeks ago and it was unusable. Did it by following the instructions.

Used the new installer, uninstalled first and it is working great!

Well done all!

My sentiment too . I was thinking of a new post --"why not buy the mini for OSX". This is no step up from the mini 9. If asked by someone --would you buy a mini 10v to install OSX again, my advice would be NO.

Dell people are certainly monitoring this forum, and DELL has found a new market in Hacks, that is why they built the 10V with mini 9 hardware--if they did not want to go after this segment they would have stuck with the Standard mini 10. They can certainly have a shadow company fix this issue and post it somewhere. So far none of the TRACKPAD fixes have worked despite the valiant efforts of so many forum stalwarts.

How did you uninstall? I thought the uninstaller wasn't functional? Is there an easy manual way to do it?
