Default M102Z!!! Look what I found - 03-18-2011, 08:20 PM

http://support.dell.com/support/down...=19&l=en&s=dhs

Now, lets see what the details are!

I bet this is the Dell AMD Fusion Based Laptop!

This explains why the M101Z is gone from Dell's page.

The M101z is still on the UK Dell website:

I'm not so sure the Fusion cpus are that great - have a look at some benchmarks - slower than the K625 in my M301z:

More of AMD

The E-350 Fusion APU is just barely slower than the K325. BUT, the GPU portion is MUCH faster / more powerful than the video cards tied to the AMD Nile CPU's. PLUS the battery life of the Fusion APU's is MUCH better.

The reviews of the Fusion APU's have been all positive. I hope this is Dell's Fusion APU notebook!

This is the text I get on the Dell US Home & Home Office site when I do a search for M101z.

"This item may not be available in the business segment you’ve selected. Please contact your sales representative for more details."

It does not show up on any of the segments when I look for it manually.
Appears to be EOL in the US. I bet the M102Z is announced / released next week.

The Dell M102z will be released with a 1.6GHz AMD Brazos E350 processor and 500GB hard drive - more details here on the Energy Star website (presumably they have tested it for certification):

i saw it on their site for $599. as much as i want it, i will have to wait until it appears on the outlet. good news is that there is a 9-cell battery option for it, up to 13 hours of battery power!
