I got what appears to be a somewhat bricked Mini 1018 from one of my computer clients a year or so ago. Never got around to trying to fixing it up until now.

1st light comes on, but no POST. Screen is completely black. I even tried hooking up an external display but nothing.

I've tried the static power drain and holding the FN key down. The second light briefly comes on and then goes off to just the first one being on. I can hear the thing on. No diagnostics or anything...

So just looking for a step in the right direction about the possible cause...
