I installed Android on my Dell Duo hardrive. However I cannot either making it boot as Android or having dual boot to select between Windows 7 and Android. It always boots as Windows 7.

During the installation I selected to install the GRUB.

Any help here to make this work will be appreciated.

Does the touchscreen work any better in Android?

I have just got a HP touchpad and the touch experience is a million times better. For example if I am trying to touch a link on a web browser with the Duo it is very hit and miss, and sometimes takes a long time for it to recognise what you are trying to do. With the touchpad I never have this problem and browsing in general is way smoother.

I was wondering if this was a software issue, or if Dell have skimped on the touchscreen hardware?

The touch screen is way more responsive with the android install, but the lack of working apps, kinda makes it a bummer. If the apps worked, i would never boot my duo into windows 7 again. The web browsing experience with the android install is really smooth.

Dell mini 9, mini 10, Duo, and a streak. im a weirdo....

I've been using the tegav2 4.0rc1 build for a while and this is my feedback:
-Touch works awesomely
-Sound now working
-Haven't tried camera
-After deleting a file in the system the virtual sd card now works perfectly
-Lack of apps but its not that bad
-Browser extremely smooth
-Only the live backgrounds work else all you'll see is a black background
-keyboard doesn't work so you're gonna have to mainly use it in tablet mode. The onscreen keyboard is also awesome which compensates for the lack of the real keyboard.
Overall:
An extremely flexible and efficient system but it's still a phone OS so no heavy duty.

- Dell Inspiron duo: - Backtrack
- Win 7
-Win 8
- Ubuntu 11.10
-Toshiba 205: - Mac OSX 10.6.7
