Default Anyone recommend a decent case? - 05-01-2011, 07:51 PM

As per title - what cases are you using?

We have been scared to take the duo out the house!

Default Case - 05-01-2011, 11:25 PM

A bag that doesn't say, Hey Look at me! I'm walking around with a nice computer, would you like to snatch it? I use an old canvas bag, but well padded.

I just use a slip-in soft case for carrying mine around on a daily basis.

Default carrying case - 05-02-2011, 07:43 PM

This is what I use:

ROOCASE Multi-Function Carrying Bag for 11.6-Inch Netbook - Green - RC-NHB10-1010-GR / - Hot Deals on Computer Hardware, Consumer Electronic, Camera Accessories, Ipod MP3 Accessories, Gaming Accessories, Iphone Cell Phone Accessories

It's a little tight when trying to fit more than the Duo, power adapter, some headphones, & an external hard drive, but it def helps in terms of portability!

elnehi, that looks like a pretty nice case. I have been looking for something a little better than the case I am currently using, I will keep this one in mind.

I use this one : HP "MINI Sleeve 11,6"" VP012AA" - Sacoche de portable comparer les prix avec

sorry the page is in french. It fits well, and the extra accessory pocket on the front is good for the mains adapter.

target case @ bestbuy:

I bought it from best buy because I needed one right away. I am sure you can get it though for cheaper online. It is a great bag and my only surviving grade-school bags are targus so I trust their quality

Mine is a Totes messenger bag I got at Big Lots for 10$ - it was made for an upt 14" laptop but is well padded. I have a neoprene soft-bag (similar to Strider's I imagine) I slip it into as an added precaution because I have kids who tend to like to play in my bags after work but it's an 'over-and-above' thing.

I find that messenger bags work best for all day use - I carry my Duo any time I am awake, basically, and that bag is perfect for it.
