Default car charger - 04-26-2011, 12:47 AM

Any one using a car charger for there duo? is it the same v0ltage asv regular charger? i have a dell car charger for an older inspiron think it will work with duo?

actually, i use a converter in my car that transforms the 12VDC into 220VAC
then i use the normal mains supply. Not only for the duo but for lots of devices.
Instead of finding different car-plugs for each.....

I find that the best solution for the car overall, simply because it's universal.

hmmm.. never really thought about doing it that way, I may have to look into that option.


Dell mini 9, mini 10, Duo, and a streak. im a weirdo....

I just bought one from Dell, $60, should arrive any day. I'll need it for long trips. Wish there was something to extend battery life when on a long plane ride.

actually there is. you just need to buy an external battery pack.
but no idea if they will allow you to enter a plane with it lol.
Since they already get nervous by toothpaste

Many aircraft feature power jacks nowadays too.
If you get a really versatile power setup it will include plugs for use on aircraft as well.
