Default Help installing OSX - 12-11-2009, 04:41 PM

I have been reading the forums here for a while, but just registered. I have gotten a BUNCH of good information so far!

My problem:
I am trying to install OSX (Snow Leopard) on my Mini 9. I do not have access to a Mac of any kind. I have a retail SL Upgrade disk, and other PC computers available. How do I do it without a Mac? I have found a few older guides, but they have dead links for the downloads, and I'm not sure if I can go directly to SL that way. Thanks in advance!

The DVD method did not work for me, it would hang up "preparing to format". The USB method worked great!

I would NOT recommend to someone that they start this project at 10:00 p.m., as it makes for a LONG night!

Thanks again for the help.

I used the method Akki posted and it worked great the first time, took about an hour in total to do. Then a little searching to get my headphone jack to work.
