![]() Hmmmmm. This stinks.
I just dug my Win 7 Family Pack out, since Win 7 is on a bootable disk. It is on a DVD, not a CD so your external CD ROM is never going to be able to read it. Have you considered Ubuntu? OK, next choice ![]() I'll go look & see if there is a way to make a Win 7 bootable USB flash drive. While it is really easy in Ubuntu, I'm not sure how to do it in Win 7. You do have to select the USB as the boot device on start up for it to work. Maybe there is something in our Win 7 forum about it, back later.
