I used this deal to pick up a "scratch and dent" Mini 1012 with six cell battery and 250GB hard disk for about $215. I was nervous about getting a wrecked laptop, but am very pleased with the good condition of the equipment. In my case the scratches are no more than light whorls on the inside plastic bezel of the display-- as if someone had use a slightly rough cloth to wipe off the plastic. I'd definitely recommend the scratch and dent equipment.
