Default 4 GB RAM in mini9? - 05-21-2010, 10:20 PM

Has anyone tried a Samsung Laptop Memory Single Module 4GB 2Rx8 PC2 6400S stick in a mini9? Can the mini9 access 4 GB of memory (running Snow Leopard in 32-bit mode)? Inquiring minds want to know...

No, the chipset won't recognize a 4GB SODIMM.

All I know is that it runs great with 2GB RAM. I have no complaints. Swapping occurs, but having an SSD versus a hard drive probably minimizes performance degradation when swapping.
