Re: win7 or osx

I'm dual booting Win7 and OS X. Both run smoothly, though I really only use X regularly, so I can't comment on Win7 battery time. It is quite quick, though. I've read somewhere that Win7 is actually...

Re: Dual Boot OSX and Windows 7

Re: Newbie needs help on creating ldlinux.sys

One important point: when you choose "Run" from the Start Menu, you should right-click and choose "Run as Administrator". I forgot to do that once and it didn't create any file or give me any...

Re: Gizmodo story referencing DellMini forum

I dunno about that. Apple, like any company, really only cares about lost sales. With our method, you are buying the OS. So, they are actually gaining sales, if only of software. Further, we are...

Suggestion: One FAQ document

The mini9 seems to be the most OS X compatible netbook: almost everything works out of the box. And thanks to the work of Type11, bmaltais and others, the few small problems are quickly disappearing....

Re: Sometimes Im stuck at the White Apple Screen

Yeah, it'd be nice if it was fixable. It seems every time I wanna show off this thing, that's one of the times I have to start it twice! However, it's so random there doesn't seem to be a clear...

Re: Dell 64 GB SSD works with OS X hack?

I bought the 32GB w/Ubuntu and have OS X and Windows 7 on it. I can't think of any reason why the 64GB wouldn't work just as well. :)

JoeBlack2k said this on another thread:

Could you try this and let us know if it works? Press 2 while the Mini is starting up and you'll get the bios screen (remember to save changes!).
